mopping, stripping and/or finishing floors, cleaning areas requiring use of ladder, operating heavy cleaning equipment, rodent and pest control and moving furniture or classroom building materials.
Job Duties Write work orders as appropriate Climb ladders for routine maintenance duties such as changing overhead bulbs or high dusting.
Wash windows and overhead transoms.
Moves heavy furniture or trash carts as requested by supervisor Wet mops stairways, landings and other large areas.
Strips and finishes floors Conducts minor maintenance duties such as:
assembling bunk beds/lofts or tightening screws Washes light fixtures Minimum Qualifications Must have a valid driver's license Possess organizational skills Ability to work with others Ability to climb ladders to reach high places Ability to lift/push/pull heavy items (50-75 pounds) Ability to operate heavy cleaning equipment.
One to two years of related job experience is preferred.
