This is a full-time position in the Department of Mathematics (MATH).
The Coordinator will assist the Mathematics Department with coursework with 45-50 different professors and graduate students.
Greet, direct, and service walk-ins to the main office, both visitors and members of the department and Notre Dame community; monitor inventory of office supplies; and daily tea time supplies; distribute daily mail and handle all outgoing shipping and express mail.
Backup for the Math Website as well.
The incumbent may also help with general departmental office operations as needs arise.
This position is ideal for a quick learner and team player who can absorb and apply new knowledge and technology to drive results while providing outstanding customer service.

Minimum
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree (4 years).
Experience:
5 to 6 years of relevant experience.
Degree (Knowledge):
Secretarial and computer knowledge is a must.
Skills:
Highly organized, capable of working under pressure and on multiple tasks at the same time.
Excellent interpersonal skills are extremely important in order to work with a diverse group of individuals.
Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, multiple computer programs is necessary, including but not limited to FileMaker Pro, Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Drive, and Banner.
Able and willing to learn, grow, and adapt smoothly to change.
General knowledge of office machines.
Tact, common sense, patience, creativity, initiative, flexibility, integrity, respectfulness, and friendliness are very helpful in this position.
Above-average spelling, English, and proofreading skills are needed.
The ability to prioritize, work ahead of schedule, predict possible outcomes, pay close attention to accuracy and detail, maintain a high level of confidentiality, and demonstrate clear and factual communication and correspondence are essential.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
