jobs) is accepting applications for a Global Human Rights Legal Fellow (Limited Term).

The Global Human Rights Fellow at Notre Dame Law School is a 2-year predoctoral position that supports our international Human Rights LLM program and associated faculty.
The Global Human Rights Fellow contributes to the education and training of NDLS students in international human rights law, collaborating with the NDLS HR LLM Program on its activities, initiatives, and curriculum.
Consistent with the Law School mission to educate a different kind of lawyer', the Global Human Rights Fellow will assist faculty in drafting their research grant proposals for internal and external grants on human rights, and assist Law faculty in authoring reports for international organizations, legal research for amicus briefs and expert opinions, and contribute to any requested joint human rights fact-finding and documentation work under the direction of a full-time faculty member.
Specific job responsibilities include:
Fostering Collaboration with outside agencies Drafting grant proposals Assisting Law faculty with human rights research, writing, and writing This is a 2-year limited term position.
A preferred candidate has been identified.
Minimum
Qualifications:
JD or Bachelor of Laws LLB LLM specializing in Human Rights Law, or be able to demonstrate that they are working towards attaining a masters degree in human rights law At least 2 years of relevant experience working on international human rights monitoring, such as at the United Nations or other international organization Excellent written and verbal skills Oral and written proficiency in more than one language Preferred
Qualifications:
Prior experience in human rights implementation and advocacy Bar admission in any jurisdiction Experience writing human rights reports for international organizations, undertaking legal research on international human rights, or conducting human rights training seminars ABOUT NOTRE DAME:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
